Robofish below seems very scary huh? But don’t get any wrong, because this robot is very friendly, especially eco-friendly. This 1.5 meters length robot was assigned to monitor pollution around it. This robot was designed to swim in the ocean. It swims back to its base every 8 hours to report the environmental situation. It is a very good idea to operate this fish robot in the ocean and allow them to monitor environmental progress. But the problem is the costs required to make a robot as expensive as US$ 30,000. It really is still too expensive for now. And the other problem is the battery endurance is only 8 hours long. Battery life is low causing the robot can’t swim far from the headquarters.
