Eco-Message From Avatar Movie
Have you seen a real fascinating movie called Avatar? The movie was starred by Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, and directed by James Cameron. Avatar is a story about a trip to a new planet, and the film vibrates with the excitement of discovery and awe. Not just for the sight of six-legged rhinos and butterfly-hued dragons, but for the thousands of hours of work that unite here in a creative epiphany.

Movie buffs have been waiting years for James Cameron’s Avatar, which opened week ago after a 12-year production schedule, but environmentalists may have their own reasons for checking out this high-tech drama. The story about a Marine sent to assist with a mining operation on an alien planet, has a green message that Cameron says was hugely important to him.
“We are causing a global climate change that’s going to be absolutely devastating to the coral reefs. We are destroying species faster than we can classify them. We are destroying the food chain faster than we can understand it.” The director, who lives on a solar-powered ranch in California and is also passionate about ocean conservation, thinks the message is clear: “The point is that we are devastating habitat and biodiversity at a terrible rate.”
